Heehee, I figured since I just tossed an excessively long forum post in your direction, I ought to check out your page. ;)

I've got to say this is pretty spiffy cool. I think the thing which most immediately struck me was a sense of contrast between the characters - just a plain natural looking little girl, a child's teddy bear... and a giant expressionless inhuman mass of steel standing out in the middle, and yet strangely and humorously seeming to fit in. I mean, seriously, just what would go through a robot's "mind" when asked by a little girl to fix a teddy bear? "HUMAN-APE REQUIRES REPAIR OF MAMMALIAN EFFIGY IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE NORMAL FUNCTIONING CAPACITY? INFORMATION ADDED TO DATA-BANKS."

Cheers for the comps, and thanks for the post. I didn't disagree with anything you said. My original point was that the very existence of cultural diversity precluded the claims of any one religion or belief system to "the truth". Due to very poor wording on my part a poster thought I was making argument that cultural diversity was the basis of empire!

That'll teach me to attempt to "wax intellectual" after a few beers. ;-)

Love the robot! Already said it, but he's really cute looking, in a totally robot-y way.
